- Personal history of MEN (multiple endocrine neoplasia)
- Type-1 diabetes
- Decreased kidney function
- Pregnant, trying to get pregnant, or breastfeeding
- History of gastroparesis (paralysis of stomach)
- History of anorexia, bulimia, or body dysmorphic disorder
- History of pancreatitis or pancreatic disease
- History of gallbladder disease
- History of Diabetic retinopathy
